KAMIYO Episode 3: Takamimusubi-no-Kami — The Authority of Creation and Order

Prologue: The Burning Right Wing

When the light of genesis that pierced the heavens and earth split into three wills, Amenominakanushi (Lord of the Center of Heaven) sat enshrined in the silence of the center.

However, the light that split to his right refused to remain silent.

It was the first "Heat" and "Motion" in the universe.

In the sea of chaos that still had no form, the source of that light pulsed violently, rampaging as if to burn away the surrounding darkness.

It was the proof that the most resilient and clear will was about to awaken, to give the first "Form" to the chaos.

Like fire erupting from a blacksmith's furnace.

Or like lightning tearing through the dark night.

The thirst for creation was about to exceed the critical point.

Chapter 1: The Manifestation of Takamimusubi

Golden light, like hellfire, swirled and condensed.

From within that radiance, a single mature god majestically appeared.

The second of the Zoka Sanshin (Three Creation Deities).

His name is Takamimusubi-no-Kami (High Imperial Musubi).

His figure was overwhelming, filled with absolute strength that struck awe into those who beheld him.

His bulging muscles were like steel, and the crest of lightning was branded upon his shoulders. On the robes he wore, patterns of earth and fields not yet born pulsed red like blood vessels.

When the god set his foot down in the void, cracks ran through space itself, and formless atoms trembled as if in terror.

He took a deep breath. With that single breath, "Wind" and "Storm" were born into the universe for the first time.

Chapter 2: Declaration of War on Order

Takamimusubi stared at the wavering chaos and declared with a voice roaring from the depths of his being.

"I am Takamimusubi. I shall carve order into chaos and guide the formless into form."

His words spread through the world as a physical shockwave.

Matter that had been drifting "somehow" was forcibly defined by the god's words.

"Up," "Down," "Solidify," "Burn."

The god's will carved the clear concept (rule) of "Creation" into the world that yet had neither name nor shape.

Chapter 3: The Golden Hammer, The Skeleton of the Earth

"I shall change this chaos into a beautiful world."

Takamimusubi smiled fearlessly and slowly raised his right hand.

From his fingertips, golden light like fragments of the sun overflowed, becoming a massive vortex pouring down into the sea of chaos.

"Let us test... just what kind of power I possess."

BOOOOOOM!!

The loudest roar since the opening of the universe echoed.

The light released from the god's hand struck the muddy space like a giant "Hammer" forging the world.

The light ran wild.

Responding to the god's will, "Up and Down" were born in the formless space, and heavy components condensed and sank.

The earth began to rise.

Massive bedrock serving as the skeleton of mountain ranges cast shadows, and unseen veins of water ran through the torn valleys.

Every time the god swung his hand, the world was carved out, and chaos shifted step by step into certain "Form."

Chapter 4: Sea and Land, Baptism of Yang

"O Earth, take eternal form! O Sea, become the cradle of life!"

That sturdy voice was a command to a world where even the concept of words was thin.

The crust trembled, fissures widened, and water filled them.

Raging waves, jutting rocky mountains.

It looked like a scene of destruction, but it was not. This was construction.

It was a rough yet sacred ritual to remake the disordered soup of chaos into a "Home" that could be inhabited.

The abyss swayed quietly, and the "Vessel" for future life to dwell in was nearing completion there.

What Takamimusubi brought was not life itself, but the "Strong Framework" and "Energy" indispensable for life to exist.

Chapter 5: The Gaze of Heaven, Premonition of the Next

There was a presence quietly watching that scene of intense creation from far above.

It was Amenominakanushi.

Standing at the center of balance, he looked at the work of Takamimusubi, who could be called his right arm, and was convinced.

(...Creation is born. With this, the world begins to move.)

Takamimusubi had passed "Bones" through the world.

But bones alone cannot be called a living thing. Flesh is needed there, blood is needed, and above all, a "Soul" is needed.

The rough yet beautiful order created by Takamimusubi.

Who would heal this rigid world, and who would nurture it?

Takamimusubi finished his work and lowered his burning arm with satisfaction.

Then, he turned his gaze to the void on the left—the realm of "Yin" that was still silent.

"My framework is done... Next is your turn, Kamimusubi."

For the first time, "Creation" and "Order" were brought to the world.

And that power bore the destiny to become an unshakable pillar in the stories of the gods to follow.
