Prologue: Love Song Echoing in the Void
"Come out! My Half-Body!"
The scream of Izanagi-no-Mikoto's soul tore through the stagnant atmosphere of the world and rippled out into the endless void.
It was not mere sound.
It was a fierce magnetic force, the positive pole of the entire universe seeking the negative pole.
The hunger of a completed puzzle seeking its final piece.
The wave of that thirst shook "Another Massive Will" sleeping on the other side of the world, or perhaps in the rift between dimensions.
A faint crack appeared in the cold, frozen glass world.
What leaked from there was a warm, sweet fragrance like the sunlight of spring.
To the call of blue passion, the world was about to return a crimson answer.
Chapter 1: Descent of Izanami, The Maiden of Vermilion Compassion
Beyond Izanagi's gaze, the empty space shimmered like a heat haze.
Contrasting the Indigo light, a "Vermilion" light tinged with warmth spread gently like a blossoming bud.
From within the veil of light, a single goddess descended.
The seventh generation of the Kamiyo-nanayo, the last and supreme goddess.
Her name is Izanami-no-Mikoto.
Her figure combined the compassion to become the mother of all life with a mysterious beauty that stole the reason of those who beheld her.
Toyokumono's free spirit, Suhijini's gentleness, Ikuguhi's brightness, Otonobe's inclusiveness, Ayakashikone's bewitching charm—all the virtues of the goddesses heretofore were gathered in her existence, fused in perfect balance.
She was clad in a Vermilion Juni-hitoe (twelve-layered ceremonial robe), symbolizing the blood of life.
Its hem was like a raging fire, and also like a great river nurturing life.
She, too, felt it the moment she awoke. The hole inside her that could not be filled.
Her soul, too, had been wandering, seeking a "Strong Vessel" into which she could pour her overflowing love.
Chapter 2: Impact, Intersecting Gazes
The male god in blue robes, and the goddess in crimson robes.
Only two pillars in the vast world.
The moment their gazes intersected across space.
ZAP!!
A visible flash ran through the world.
This is not a metaphor.
It was the collision (impact) of intense energy as "Heaven" and "Earth," "Yang" and "Yin," "Man" and "Woman," separated since the beginning of the universe, tried to become one again across hundreds of millions of years.
From Izanagi's eyes, the ice of solitude instantly melted away, and a scorching flame was lit.
The hole in Izanami's chest was instantly filled, and the heartbeat of joy beat like an alarm bell.
(Ah... You are there. You were there.)
Words were unnecessary.
Every single cell, every single particle of their souls was screaming that the other was their one and only "Pair."
It was the most beautiful, most intense love at first sight in the history of mythology.
It was the moment when the OS called the World "Fully Booted" for the first time through the connection of these two.
Chapter 3: Resonance of Souls, Maiden and Male God
Izanagi walked toward her, one step, then another, as if being sucked in.
His gait was not that of the powerful king from moments ago, but hurried like a young man fallen in love.
"Oh... What a beautiful maiden (Otome)."
His voice trembled with emotion.
The goddess before him far exceeded the ideal he had imagined. He felt that with just one of her smiles, this cold world would turn into paradise.
"You are... the true partner my soul has been screaming for."
Izanami also blushed, staring back at him with feverish eyes.
How rugged, how beautiful the male god before her was.
Seeing his lonely eyes begin to shine reflecting her, her maternity exploded. She wanted to support this person. She wanted to become one with this person.
"Yes... You are the beautiful male god (Otoko) I should love and live with..."
The distance between them became zero.
From their touching fingertips, a warm current ran through their bodies.
The two lonely souls clicked together, and the entire universe began to emit a golden light as if blessing their love.
Chapter 4: Bestowal of Amenonuboko
At that moment when their two souls completely resonated and the flame of love burned up, Heaven moved.
Above their heads, from a rift in the sea of clouds, a single massive, sacred spear descended slowly with a band of light.
"Amenonuboko" (The Heavenly Jeweled Spear).
Its handle was decorated with coral and jade, vivid to behold, but its blade shone sharply, harboring the power to cut through and mix all chaos.
It was not merely a weapon. It was a cooking tool to stir the massive pot called the world, and a symbol of royal authority (Regalia) indicating dominion over this earth.
"Izanagi, Izanami."
The voice of Heaven resonated solemnly.
"With the love of you two pillars, wield this Amenonuboko. Stir the lower world that has not yet solidified, and create a true land."
It was a ritual delegating full authority as "Creators" to them.
Izanagi reached out to the spear with awe.
It was heavy. It was the weight of the world's destiny itself.
"Is this... the weight of the world?"
When his face stiffened for a moment under the pressure, white, soft hands supported the spear along with his hands.
It was Izanami.
"You need not carry it alone, my beloved."
"Izanami..."
"If we hold it together, any burden becomes light as wings."
Her smile gave Izanagi infinite courage.
The moment their hands overlapped, Amenonuboko emitted a resonance (howling) as if raising a voice of joy, releasing a dazzling light.
Chapter 5: The Heavenly Floating Bridge, Oath to Chaos
Carrying the spear, Izanagi and Izanami stood on the rainbow bridge connecting heaven and earth—"Amenoukihashi" (The Heavenly Floating Bridge).
It was the borderline between the realm of gods and the unfinished material world.
The two gods peered down.
There, the "Sea of Chaos" spread out, not yet solidified, drifting like oil and wavering like a jellyfish.
A primitive world where dark, deep, unknowable energy swirled.
Izanagi held Izanami's shoulder, standing next to him, tightly.
"Do you see, Izanami? That is our new home, and the place where our children will live."
"Yes, I see it. It is still dark now... but if we fill it with our love, surely it will become a paradise where beautiful flowers bloom in profusion."
The two looked at each other and nodded.
This was not a mission. It was the embodiment of love.
A grand collaboration to paint the shape of their love on the canvas called the earth.
"Let us begin, my beloved wife!"
"Yes, my beloved husband! Together for eternity!"
Izanagi and Izanami raised their joined hands high and pointed the tip of the sacred Amenonuboko toward the chaos below.
Based on all the history built by the Kamiyo-nanayo, now, the most passionate drama of "The Birth of the Land" (Kuniumi) in Japanese mythology opens its curtain with the sound of splashing water.
