KAMIYO Episode 2: Amenominakanushi-no-Kami — Balance and Tuning of the World

Prologue: The Primordial Light, Split into Three

Before the "Beginning," neither words, nor time, nor even space existed.

There was only a vortex of chaos possessing infinite density.

Then, by the will of someone, the spark of creation was ignited.

Flash—

With a shockwave transcending sound, the chaos was torn apart.

The overflowing energy spread as if devouring the infinite darkness, eventually beginning to form the high-dimensional realm that would come to be called Takamagahara (The High Plain of Heaven).

That light of creation instantly split into three different colors, three different "Wills."

One was an active energy, like a raging fire.

One was a receptive energy, like deep, silent water.

And between them, belonging to neither yet ruling over both, was a translucent, pale blue light.

The moment of the separation of heaven and earth (Tenchi Kaibyaku).

The birth of the first gods, the "Three Creation Deities" (Zoka Sanshin), was about to begin.

Chapter 1: The Solitary Pillar Standing in the Void

Of the three lights, the one that took form earliest and most quietly was the central pale blue light.

Amidst the storm of violent energy, it alone maintained silence, like the eye of a typhoon.

Particles of light converged while drawing a spiral.

A presence too ethereal to be called flesh, yet possessing a mass too certain to be called a spirit.

It was a majestic silhouette, as if the universe itself had been compressed into the shape of a man.

Amenominakanushi-no-Kami (Lord of the Center of Heaven).

When he opened his eyelids, galaxies not yet born were quietly rotating within his pupils.

Past, present, and future. From the beginning of time to its end, all were simultaneously reflected in the depths of his eyes.

He was an "Individual," yet "The All."

He was the first "Pillar" driven into the center of the massive vessel known as the universe.

Chapter 2: The Guardian of Balance

Amenominakanushi stood in the newborn, unstable space and looked at his own hands.

He held nothing. He possessed neither weapons nor tools.

However, his very existence—his sheer mass—acted as an anchor stabilizing the space.

"I am... Amenominakanushi."

His voice resonated not as a vibration of air, but as direct interference with consciousness.

"I stand at the center of heaven and watch over all balance."

He understood.

He was not a King to rule the world.

He was not a Craftsman to build things.

He was a "Tuner" who, simply by "Being," maintained the balance of opposing forces: right and left, up and down, light and darkness.

If the center wavered, the world would collapse back into chaos. His immobility was the absolute condition for the survival of the universe.

Chapter 3: The First "Other," The Budding of Relationship

At that moment, Amenominakanushi noticed other lights pulsating to his left and right.

To the right was Takamimusubi.

A mass of Yang energy that generates all things. A powerful will, rough and seeking to expand outward.

To the left was Kamimusubi.

A fluctuation of Yin energy that nurtures all things. A receptive will, gentle and seeking to converge inward.

Amenominakanushi acknowledged these two lights, and the corners of his mouth relaxed slightly.

In the universe where there had been only the "Individual," this was the moment "Relationship" was born for the first time.

Three as one. Like a tripod, the world could only stand stably when these three pillars were aligned.

"Are you also brethren sharing this time of beginning...?"

He spoke to them. His words became light and reached the gods on his left and right.

"This sensation... It seems we have a great mission to guide this world."

Chapter 4: The Oath of the Hidden Body

The two gods on the left and right also responded to Amenominakanushi's call, shining brightly as if understanding their respective roles.

Yang (Takamimusubi) expands, Yin (Kamimusubi) receives, and the Central Master (Nakanushi) harmonizes.

The system of creation known as "Musuhi" (Creative Power) was completed here.

Amenominakanushi nodded quietly, and then began to fade his form gradually.

He was not vanishing.

It was "Kakurimi" (Hidden Body)—he was melting into the background of the world.

If the center asserts itself too strongly, the world leans.

He chose to become the unseen "Logic" (Logos), supporting the balance from the other side of the universe forever.

"Let us go. To begin the story."

The pale blue light diffused and melted into the sky of Takamagahara.

Though his form is unseen, he is always there.

In the movement of the stars, in the turning of the seasons, and in the beating of life.

Thus, the first god became "The World Itself."

The history of KAMIYO opened its curtain with this quiet tuning.
